The cutest Fall skirt for under $50

This little fall skirt has been a major compliment magnet, both in-person and on Instagram stories! I initially received it as a fit sample from Chicwish, who was considering making it in more extended sizing. I got to try it on for fit feedback, and am happy to share it’s now available for pre-order! I know this will get plenty of wear through winter, paired with wither black, brown, or dark gray tights.

Chicwish items ship globally from Asia, so expect to wait at least two weeks from the shipment date if you select free shipping. In my experience their items vary in quality, but this skirt is a win. It’s a unique little design made in good quality material, which feels weighty and doesn’t wrinkle. It has a lining, horn buttons, an invisible back zipper, and a removable sash belt. The XXS (measures 25″ at the waist and 32″ at the hips) fits well on me without alterations, and you can use the belt to tighten the waist a bit if needed. Sizing runs small compared to American brands, so definitely check the waist and hip measurements for every size, listed on the webpage.

It’s never too early to stock up on layering tees in preparation for winter! Uniqlo makes some of my favorites, like this skin-toned Heattech tee which I conceal under sweaters for extra insulation. I recently picked up this ribbed tee, which is thin enough to layer but can also be worn as a standalone top. Note the sleeves of an XS are pretty long on me, so I usually wear them folded or pushed up. I’m a big fan of the mock neckline, which is warm and elongating, but doesn’t “choke” you like some turtlenecks do!

I topped off this look with my trusty Blank NYC suede moto jacket. For those who’ve asked, I had the sleeves shortened by my local tailor – most experienced tailors will have no problem altering this, zippers and all. See how else I’ve styled this jacket over the years here, here, and here!
