I’m having a hard time believing we’ve already reached the end of April, but here we are and Mother’s Day is just around the corner! I wanted to share a few tried-and-true gifts that the moms and mother figures in our lives love, and that I wouldn’t mind receiving myself either!
1. For Neighborhood Walks

This was a hit last Christmas for both my mom and MIL! As a very petite woman your blog has become such an incredible resource for me. Just the other day I was reorganizing my closet and lamenting over how the regular sized hangers I was using were causing bumps in my coats and jackets. I decided to explore your blog and was thrilled to find a post from 2013 ( I only discovered your blog in 2017) addressing that very issue! You mentioned a company called Only Hangers that carry junior size hangers.
but before I go ahead and place an order with them I wanted to ask if you are happy with how the hangers have held up over the years, and if they are strong enough to also serve as winter wool coat hangers. I noticed that on Amazon there are now several companies offering junior size hangers but since I’m unsure of their quality I would prefer to go with a recommendation.

Hi Kathy, thank you for your kind note, I’ve found the Only Hangers have held up amazingly! But I have also purchased junior sized hangers from similar wooden hanger brands on Amazon (like Nature Smile and Honey-Can-Do) and they have been good quality as well.
