As a heels lover, I used to only reach for sneakers for pairing with travel or workout outfits. But stylish sneakers have been making their way into my everyday looks, even more now that all-day comfort and support have become growing priorities (*looks down at belly*)!

So I’m excited to partner with Nike today on the debut of some chic new colors for their React running shoe (I’m wearing the Light Cream and how fun is the Pearl Pink?!). I’ve been a fan of their Free running shoes for years, and was eager to try out the React. It’s one of their latest styles, with a new level of cushioning and greater durability (you can read more about features here). I can only speak to walking and not running in these, but have found them to offer a lot of support and springy cushioning while remaining very lightweight.

The Nike React sneaker is made with a Flyknit outer material for a stretchy fit that conforms to your foot. Note, there is no separate tongue in the front – it’s stitched as part of the sneaker’s upper, so is fitted around your ankles and feels almost like an attached sock. Size-wise, I took half a size up (5.5) for the most comfortable fit and ease of entry.

For fellow neutral lovers, I’m also liking the React in “wolf grey” – I have this hue in a different pair of sneakers, and love the versatility when pairing with other colors. And if you’re looking for a staple black & white sneaker, these are the updated versions of my light & comfy Nike Frees that I wear on heavy rotation, from running errands to working out to travel and light hiking! Nick also soundly recommends the mens Frees (black & white is currently on sale).
